Reporting to the Manager, Digital Solutions, the Digital Solutions Manager supports the vision of the digital transformation strategy and helps with the implementation of digital solutions that improve operational efficiency. This person will be acting as the in-house integrations expert who will be working closely with IT, Commercial units such as Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Management to accomplish successful system integrations and improvements. 

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Help plan, organize, and implement system integrations with customers and partners
  • Work with software development teams acting as in house Subject Matter Expert
  • Help drive change management within the organization 
  • Help manage various digital initiatives through regular reviews with operations, service providers and other branch/corporate stakeholders until completion.
  • Provide input to the IT team in designing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scripts and collaborate with internal or external testers to ensure that deliverables meet user requirements and expectations
  • Work the continuous development and improvement efforts across all operational faucets and focus on automation
  • Assists in researching products to meet requirements and to support development efforts.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to deliver new initiatives.
  • Build business relationships with key partners both internally and externally to implement digital solutions that increase efficiencies and provide innovative solutions to our Operational teams for optimal efficiencies. 
  • Work closely with the operational and process engineering teams to review, assess, and provide guidance on the various digital solutions that improve operational performance and SLAs
  • Effectively work solutions/system integrations with key strategic global partners.
  • Follow a mix of scrum and waterfall methodologies to effectively manage several digital initiatives concurrently.
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure alignment of department, division, and corporate objectives.

Qualifications

  • Mandatory Covid-19 Vaccination Required as of October 31st 2021
  • Bachelor’s Degree/College Diploma in Management Information Systems or related fields
  • 2+ years of experience in Information Systems Management and/or Digital Technologies
  • 2+ years of experience in Vendor/Partner Management
  • Experience in the Transportation/Aerospace industry
  • Knowledge of Software Development and Software Development Life Cycle an asset
  • Project Management Experience, PMP is an asset
  • Knowledge of IATA standards are an asset
  • Ability to follow trends of new technological advancements/releases
  • Ability to work/support multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams within the business
  • Must be able to understand information systems and system integration principles
  • Ability to excel and make decisions working in an extremely fast paced environment
  • Experience in Process and Change management at the organizational level
  • Problem-solving and collaboration skills to interpret commercial needs, and execute integrated, tactical solutions in collaboration with relevant business functions for cross-functional success
  • A high degree of initiative and the ability to work in a team environment are essential
  • Effective strategic planning and decision making ability
  • Understanding of the Canadian E-commerce industry and landscape
  • Highly developed interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Motivated self-starter that can work with minimal supervision
