We are looking for a CRM developer to join our team in our ongoing Salesforce evolution and development implementation at Air Canada Cargo.
 
As a CRM developer you will play a key role in the CRM & Analytics team. You will identify, develop, test and support the implementation of new platform features and enhancements to improve processes and help drive better business results to execute on the CRM vision and roadmap. Close collaboration with all areas of Air Canada Cargo to understand the needs of the business domains will be very important as well as developing a strong partnership with the team members.   
 
This is an exciting role for a CRM Developer who excels and thrives at applying innovative and new techniques in a challenging and fast paced environment.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the full Salesforce development life-cycle from technical design to development, testing and deployment.
  • Implement core development of new functionalities, enhancements to existing functionalities, and platform maintenance work
  • Design, build, test and deploy Salesforce Platform solutions that may include workflows and flows, APEX triggers, Custom Web Services, VisualForce pages, Lightning 
  • Design and build Interfaces between Salesforce Platform and other applications (e.g. Mulesoft)
  • Participate in project requirements meetings (as necessary) with business analysts.
  • Active participation in iterative feedback sessions, enabling the business domains to provide input on work in progress
  • In close collaboration with the Analytics and Strategic Insights team, suggest derive insights from the Salesforce processes and data through management of dashboards, ad hoc and standard reports, including creation, maintenance and ongoing review for applicability
  • Work closely with the Analytics and CRM team to ensure end user adoption and engagement

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in a relevant subject area (Information Technology Management, Computer Science) or equivalent work experience
  • 2 years or more of Salesforce Platform development experience with proven knowledge and experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud, and Salesforce Platform
  • 2 years or more progressive Enterprise Applications Development and customization experience (with Salesforce, Java, and/or Microsoft technologies)
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver Salesforce solutions based on SFDC standards and best practices 
  • Solid knowledge of the Salesforce product offerings
  • One or more Salesforce certifications (e.g. Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I, Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant)
  • Experience with Salesforce integration tools (e.g. MuleSoft, Informatica)
  • Experience with Salesforce DevOps tools (e.g. Salesforce DX, Git, Jenkins, Copado, GearSet)
  • Strong overall development skills with a preference for Agile methodology
  • Enjoy working in a team in agile mode with a strong collaborative mindset
  • Passion for solving complex business challenges by utilizing latest technology solutions
  • Be highly driven and able to self-manage in a fast paced and -quickly changing environment
  • Possess strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Able to communicate with both technical and business audiences
  • Build rapport and develop effective working relationships with colleagues  
  • Have resourcefulness, persistence, passion and a determination for the overall success of the CRM implementation
