We seek a passionate Product Manager, with a proven sense of ownership, to drive the product planning, design, and implementation of our Partnership Loyalty Products. What’s required is not only a good sense of business development, product management, and software development fundamentals; but also the ability to galvanize both internal and external teams towards a common vision using proven team organization techniques.

  • Manage product teams to plan, execute and drive industry-leading Partnership Loyalty Products. 
  • Lead product managers, product owners, and business analysts responsible for the current and future offering, value proposition, and member experience of Aeroplan’s Partnership Loyalty Products; including retail point-of-sale, travel, and online retailing of various loyalty and ancillary products.
  • Work collaboratively with Business Development, Technology, Design, and Marketing; as well as numerous internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, on a day-to-day basis to bring new Partnership Loyalty Products to market.
  • Identify and lead the development of new products, services and features, as well as enhance existing offerings through a sound understanding of market trends, member needs, product performance, loyalty business models, and competitive positioning within the Canadian marketplace and the broader loyalty and airline industry worldwide.
  • Lead product teams in following Agile and Scrum best-practices to ensure efficiency, predictability, and transparency in the delivery of all Partnership Loyalty Products.
  • Closely monitor key performance indicators and identify when additional actions are required to meet business objectives. 
  • Rigorously uphold the member experience and value proposition by ensuring a strong customer-centric focus in the development of new Partnership Loyalty Products.


  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Product Management and Software Development that have satisfied real user needs in the online retail, travel and/or loyalty industries.
  • Proven experience working with different stakeholders from multiple disciplines while building and managing large cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in Agile and Scrum methodologies and tools required, including previous experience as a Product Owner and excellent familiarity with Jira.
  • An ownership mindset and approach that defaults to action, for you and your entire team.
  • A genuine excitement for solving customer problems and a passion for online retailing concepts, strategies and best practices.
  • Strong ability to analyze primary and secondary data points to inform product decisions and strategies.
  • Superior organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage long term projects with ease.
  • Ability to influence others with strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills.
  • Strong leadership and results oriented capability.
  • Superior communication skills and ability to convey ideas to all levels of the organization.
