Reporting to the Manager Global Partnerships, the Global Support & Business Development Manager  will be responsible for managing, liaising and developing the overall global communication with our Summit partners including but not limited to monthly reports, contracts, presentations, BI reports, CASS discrepancies etc,…
Global Support & Business Development Manager  will develop a dynamic strategy to facilitate the development and growth with our Summit partners in all regions and align their objectives with the overall objectives of the cargo branch. 
  • Act as primary contact interface between Air Canada Cargo and our Summit partners regarding their global incentive agreement (post negotiation).
  • Actively pursue business development opportunities with our Summit partners across all regions (based on historical numbers, Cass and market info) that align with the cargo branch objectives and share with the regions. 
  • Send incentive tracking and monthly reports to our Summit partners. 
  • Develop and maintain Summit power point presentations both globally and regionally for QBRs and specific meetings.
  • Develop and maintain Summit push reports.
  • Enhance Cargo iQ scorecards and steps to engage regions. Monthly/quarterly reports to be sent to our Summit partners.
  • Work with Business Intelligence as the liaise between BI and Global team.
  • Work with BI and accounting to assist in CASS discrepancies for our Summit partners.
  • Provide commercial support, analytical support & intelligence to the Global team, as well as all the regions.
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure alignment of department, division and corporate objectives
  • Strategic integration with global and regional partners; internal stakeholders and the commercial team


  • Strong understanding of the cargo business.
  • Analytical experience with proven success in report/scorecards development. 
  • Highly developed interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

  • Strong analytical skill set – ability to data mine and drive direction with key partners
  • Key partner development – strategic and consultative approach

  • Proficiency with applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel,Power Point, and SalesForce CRM. 
  • Undergraduate business degree a definite asset
