As the Product Manager, EFB and Tech Ops, you will play a key role in defining the end-to-end digital experience of the Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) for all flight crew at Air Canada and Air Canada Rouge, including the hardware product specification, operational applications used before, during, and after flight, and other digital solutions to deliver a safe and reliable operation.   

Your focus will be on implementing digital products that empower flight crew across Canada with real-time, contextual, and connected tools to deliver an industry-leading experience. You will work closely with other Product Managers to develop a comprehensive and coordinated product vision and roadmap for hardware and applications.


  • Lead the EFB and operational product vision and roadmap for flight crew at Air Canada and Air Canada Rouge.  
  • Leverage user research and interpret analytics to identify overall product strategy and feature prioritization, aligning it with business goals and flight crew feedback, while evaluating trade-offs with technical feasibility.   
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including crew management, SOC, Product, and Flight Operations management, to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to product development.  
  • Oversee the product lifecycle, making informed decisions about new features and product direction to support strategic objectives. 
  • Gather and prioritize requirements from stakeholders, including flight crew, Flight Technical, and Flight Standards to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to product development.   
  • Cultivate strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including IT, UX/UI design, data analytics, and operations, to deliver seamless and impactful digital products.   
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, using agile methodologies and technical acumen. 
  • Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge in digital solutions for Flight Operations. 
  • Work collaboratively with other product teams to ensure harmonization between respective product roadmaps, business objectives, user needs and technical feasibility in product design and development. 
  • Lead strategy for product launches, ensuring solid cross-functional communication and change management. 
  • Prepare presentations and actively participate in meetings with leaders across the company to communicate roadmap, new features, and data. 
  • Ensure compliance with aviation safety standards. 
  • Validate and test the product to ensure it meets or exceeds user requirements, user experience and corporate quality and cyber security standards. 
  • Act as a product evangelist, promoting the EFB and its benefits to internal and external stakeholders.


  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration) or relevant experience in Aviation and/or Technology.   
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Aviation and/or Technology.   
  • Experience with Flight Operations and Canadian Aviation Regulations a strong asset.  
  • Proven track record of success in product management or related roles, preferably within the aviation or transportation industry.   
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the capability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.   
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving acumen, enabling data-driven decision-making and innovation.   
  • Results-oriented mindset, with a history of achieving product success and driving business outcomes.   
  • A passion for empowering flight crew through forward-thinking digital solutions.
