The Community Engagement Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the work of the Air Canada Foundation and the Community Engagement team to develop and implement programs and initiatives that further Air Canada’s social good efforts. 


  • Daily monitoring and management of the Air Canada Foundation inbox.
  • Responsible for the evaluation and processing of humanitarian excess baggage requests.
  • Assist with the operations related to the Aeroplan Member donation program.
  • Coordinates food rescue efforts, by posting food donations online. Point-of contact for the catering team and Second Harvest’s Food Rescue team.
  • Work with the team to keep the Aeronet and webpages up to date.  Manage processes to effect such changes.
  • Manage processes, update and manage the tools and templates used by the Community Engagement team.
  • Provide general administrative support, as required, to the Community Engagement team (including expense claims, orders, travel requirements, partnerships and programs administration, etc.)
  • Provide support for charitable initiatives and special events, as required. Support with any events-related task like set-up, tear-down, email communication, etc. and participate in the duties related to the Air Canada Foundation Golf Tournament auction. 
  • Coordinating with Foundation team to communicate website updates to web team. 
  • Putting care packages together for charitable partners.
  • Keep policies, procedures and guidelines up to date.
  • Prepare and send out tax receipts.
  • Managing the inventory and organization of the Air Canada Foundation storage room.


  • Fluently bilingual in French and English.
  • Min 3 years’ experience in administration and/or coordinator and/or like position.
  • Strong communications skills.
  • Experienced in Excel, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
  • Organized and excellent at prioritizing tasks.
