This position will be responsible for supporting the design and delivery of a variety of quantitative and qualitative research projects supporting the work of Air Canada Brand and Loyalty initiatives.

The individual in this role will have a keen interest in discovering the ‘why’ and telling the story behind consumer behaviour, sentiment, and decision-making process. 

The incumbent is a motivated self-starter, capable of working in a fast-paced deadline driven environment. Organizational and time management skills are essential to the success of this role.
 
Key functions & Accountabilities
 
This position reports to the Manager, Market Research and will be involved in:
  • Participating in the end-to-end design and management of a variety of research studies across various business units at Air Canada
  • Drafting questionnaires which accurately address business and research objectives
  • Drafting research reports that summarize complex research findings into clear & actionable insights 
  • Manage/optimize continuous studies to monitor key performance metrics
  • Collaborate with the Market Research and wider teams across Air Canada to optimize and further integrate the use of research data/findings within the organization
  • Management of relationships with 3rd party research suppliers related to research initiatives
  • Support relationships with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities to further add value to partners/clients/business strategy through market research
  • Assist the Market Research team in producing analysis with accuracy and integrity and based on best research practices
  • Assist with team administration tasks

Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience in similar position
  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Social Sciences, Statistics, or related discipline
  • Keen interest in the design and execution of complex quantitative and qualitative research projects 
  • Understanding of various research methodologies, statistical concepts and data analysis
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Strong interest in Marketing, Loyalty, and Customer Experience
  • Strategic thinking with astute business sense; bility to gather and synthesize data into actionable insights & recommendations
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Superior organizational, time management and planning skills
  • Thrives in a fast-moving environment 
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and succinctly, should be comfortable interpreting data analyses and writing reports 
  • Exposure to survey tools such as Qualtrics
  • Efficient in use of Excel, PowerPoint, SPSS 
Assets
  • Fluent in both French and English (written and spoken)
