We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to fill a position on Trans-Canada Capital’s Investment and Risk Compliance team. Reporting to the Senior Analyst, Investment and Risk Compliance, the analyst's primary responsibilities will be to support the team in monitoring investment and transaction compliance, monitoring personal transactions and managing TCC's compliance program.

Role and responsibilities:

Conduct investment and trading desk compliance reviews

Perform various tasks such as producing compliance reports

Monitoring of limits and thresholds defined in investment and risk management guidelines

Contribute to the development and optimization of processes

Participate in the design and implementation of new work tools

Support pre-trade processes and perform post-trade validations, including review of trade allocations

Apply monitoring controls on the personal transaction policy

Review external managers' certificates of compliance

Participate in a variety of compliance tasks
Qualifications
Formation
-
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (finance, actuarial science, mathematics, accounting, etc.) or equivalent
-
A minimum of two years of relevant experience
-
Experience in investment, finance, actuarial science, an asset
Knowledge and skills
-
Knowledge of VBA, SQL, Python is an asset

Knowledge of Bloomberg, an asset

Excellent command of the Office suite (Excel)
