Key responsibilities:
  • Sort and create files for claims received from customers according to quality standards.
  • Calculate what to charge a partner airline when they take responsibility in a customer’s itinerary after a claim is paid by Air Canada. (Prepare Prorates)
  • Provide support by maintaining various types of reports, files and data systems
  • Prepare bank transfers
  • Liaise with Baggage Claims Representatives
  • Receive, deliver and pick up boxes, incoming mail, parcels, etc for Baggage Claims
  • Update and input data.
  • Operate office equipment.
  • Complete tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Provide feedback to leads and management in order to promote continual improvement of Air Canada’s customer service delivery
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • May be required to perform other general office and administrative tasks which do not affect the nature of the job.

Qualifications

  • Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Databases, Powerpoint, Access)
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Strong organizational and decision-making skills. Strong time-management skills and an ability to work autonomously.
  • An ability to adapt, to not only new procedures and policies, but new technology.
  • Customer service background
