The Cabin Standards Operations Specialist will be responsible to perform technical aircraft interior inspections as per the commercial standards for a variety of cabin inspections including cabin interior audits for condition, pre-airframe visits and grooming status.  
 
This position will also be responsible to record the findings in TRAX, analyze the findings to identify trends, parts and labor requirement to repair the finding.  By analyzing the trends,  the role will have to provide preventive maintenance measures to reduce the number of findings.  The incumbent will also be responsible to provide technical coaching to front line employees.  
  • Perform a variety of technical aircraft interior (Cabin) condition inspections based on commercial standards 
  • Perform grooming inspections with impartial observations and consistency 
  • Analyze the results of the inspections to identify actions required to rectify the findings 
  • Using the Aircraft Maintenance Manuals and Component Maintenance Manuals, evaluate the defects to identify the parts required to rectify the defects, ensuring proper effectivity to the aircraft 
  • Create the defects in TRAX and analyze the requirement for labour and downtime for the rectification of the defect 
  • Collaborate with and provide technical support to Planning on prioritization and planning of defects Analyze repeat cabin defects to identify trends and provide preventative maintenance recommendations 
  • Create reports of findings and perform cost analysis to identify if changes are required to the cabin maintenance program. If yes, then provide recommendations to the Maintenance Program team.  
  • Assign priority to the defects based on the customer impact.  
  • Provide coaching to front line employee during the Cabin Maintenance check where cabin defects will be rectified 
  • Perform post event inspections and provide coaching to the front line employees on findings  
  • Participate in regular alignment sessions with Commercial and Maintenance on cabin standards 
  • Achieve a defined target of number of inspections per station based on aircraft schedule  
  • Assist with special projects as required 

Qualifications

  • Mandatory Covid-19 Vaccination Required as of October 31st 2021
  • Aircraft trim and finish knowledge 
  • Cabin interior knowledge 
  • Aircraft mechanic license an asset 
  • Self-starter, customer-focused and results driven 
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written 
  • Computer literate 
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft office  
  • Team player with strong ability to work independently 
  • Analytical abilities for creative and innovative analysis and problem solving 
  • Influence without authority 
  • Ability to work under pressure 
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours and weekend 
  • Willingness and capable to travel 
  • Good knowledge of operations an asset 
  • Experience using reporting tools for analysis
