The purpose of this position is to provide line maintenance on Air Canada and on our customers airline aircraft.

  • Routine line maintenance inspections and tasks on all aircraft types within Air Canada´s wide body fleet at Frankfurt and within region Europe
  • Perform troubleshooting and rectification of aircraft defects
  • Ensure airworthiness and Safety Policies (S.A.F.E.), Processes and Standards are adhered to
  • Ensure aircraft and related Maintenance Records are completed according to the standards set out in the ACM Control Manual

Actual duties and responsibilities may include any or all of the functional duties & responsibilities listed above plus any other related tasks as assigned by the employee’s superior.

Qualifications

  • An approved apprenticeship in Aircraft Maintenance
  • EASA B1 License or CAT A license
  • A Transport Canada AME M2 License
  • B777, B767, B787, A330, A320 endorsement training (equivalent to EASA 147 B1/B2)
  • Ability to cope with irregular or multiple work demands
  • Must be receptive to flexible work hours, holiday/weekend coverage and off base assignments within the region
  • Team player with effective communication skills and strong customer focus
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft office Applications such as Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Fluent in English & German – other languages are an asset
  • German/ EU work permit and a driver´s license is a pre-requisite
