Reporting directly to the Manager, Asset Protection, the Global Security Operation Centre Manager will be responsible for the daily operations delivery and the maintenance of the physical security strategies in the GSOC as well as ensuring employee supervision. Furthermore, the Global Security Operation Centre Manager will be responsible for assisting in the built and design of the GSOC tools, process and procedures.

  • Manage the daily operations at the Global Security Operation Centre.
  • Manage the Global Security Operation Centre’s staff and schedule.
  • Maintain the implementation of Physical Security initiatives and provideoperational support to existing facilities and consultation during construction projects for Security systems.
  • In collaboration with the company regulatory officers, ensure compliance in the implementation and maintenance of physical security strategy.
  • Promote internal employee compliance to policies and procedures to ensure the best effectiveness of asset protection program.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to identify security needs and assist in designing a solution.
  • Oversee the application quality and integrity when critical issues arise, ensure proper communication with other business units and technical teams supporting the GSOC.
  • Act as second point of contact for functional issues and liaison to 3rd party vendor.
  • Act as the point of contact for internal staff to escalate issues and high priority requests in order to drive service improvement and quality.
  • Train and provide guidance to all Security guards stations in the use of the Security Tools.
  • Supervise Canada wide 3rd party security control personnel, security guard operations and staff schedules 24/7.


• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement action plans that achieve objectives.
• Understanding of physical security systems, analysis and design, integration, and software management methodologies.
• Focused on continuous improvement, must be creative and an innovative thinker.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills both in English and French.
• Strong leadership and staff supervision.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong commitment to teamwork.
• Must demonstrate solid operational background.
• Highly flexible and adaptable to support 24/7 operation. 
• Recognized ability to work under pressure and handle stressful situations.
• Must be available for occasional travel across Canada.
