In addition to assuming the role of Client Partner Analyst for her assigned internal client(s), the person in this role will be responsible for all internal client facing interactions processes and to lead the team tasked with maintaining partnerships. This entails coordinating the deployment of our service offerings for our clients, moderating communities, define how we engage and the various touch points with our client to ensure total satisfaction.

  • Be the main contact for the DMA team 
  • Ensure that customer-facing documentation is consistently produced, as much for the assets that are built for their LOB as for the general service offerings 
  • Collaborate with the DEVOPS manager to ensure that security and data access rules are respected with all LOB’s
  • Be the main contact for our backlog management system (Service Now) and lead improvements and governance of processes and standards for all LOB’s
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance services and internal processes to elevate insights for all stakeholders
  • Participate in the governance of the Data Program by intimately understanding all clients’ business strategies, the strategic plan pillars they enable and provide leadership in priority setting for the team
  • Participate and propose the team service offerings, how clients can engage us to leverage these services and ensure that they are documented and published
  • Maintain the Data Management and Analytics Port Folio by keeping the team updated on the overview Port Folio as well as the Opportunities Port Folio
  • Work with the project managers from the PMO for updates and resources assignment.
  • Liaise with all branches to understand their needs and functionally integrate all the appropriate services of the Data Management & Analytics to provide the best data solutions
  • Take ownership of certain data subject areas and become intimately familiar with how the data is loaded, used and the transformation rules applied and why
  • Manage the backlog of requests for their assigned LOB’s and work with them to prioritize and manage expectations as well as maintaining a positive and collaborative relationship
  • Work with their LOB’s to define functional and nonfunctional requirements and act as advisor to them
  • Provide data subject matter expertise for their assigned subjects to non-assigned LOBs 
  • Meet with all branches regularly
  • Conduct needs based assessments, identify and document gaps, make recommendations
  • Work closely with other Technology & Data team members and strengthen our technology and data linkage
  • Take a lead role in process improvements and special projects, contributing to the design of effective and sustainable solutions
  • Consult with team members to understand issues, share experience, brainstorm solutions and provide support
  • Continuously learn about our area of expertise (data management and analytics) to provide leadership and support all branches with their analytics vision

 

Qualifications

  • University degree
  • 7+ years of business experience
  • Broad knowledge and understanding of visual analytics, KPI’s and executive dashboards
  • Background in analytical modelling
  • Strong understanding of data and data quality principles and methods
  • Proficiency in modern business intelligence and data management architecture
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Strong time management and organization skills to manage multiple priorities
  • Good technical knowledge in analytics and reporting tools
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong commitment to data accuracy and integrity
  • Strong process mapping skills
  • Demonstrated and exceptional relationship management skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
  • Technical and operational proficiency (Teradata, Webfocus, Power BI) an asset
