Responsible for developing and implementing the daily fleet plan in a "real time" environment within the SOC operational window. Synchronize the fleet deployment plan with consideration given to maintenance and operational restrictions, as well as commercial and customer service priorities. The ARMs are expected to be the go-to resource in SOC for any operational issue relating to aircraft deployment outside day-of-flight. They must ensure coordinated and thorough information flow between the SOC Planning Unit with Maintenance Planning, Maintenance Operations Control (MOC), airports, and other impacted departments.

  • Ensure routing of aircraft into scheduled airframe events. Monitor for changes to the schedule of airframe events based on current Heavy Maintenance Gantt chart requirements.
  • Assign fins to aircraft tracks in Netline Ops and ensure each aircraft is capable of completing the routing.
  • Monitor ‘return to service” estimates, make needed schedule adjustments and communicate accordingly.
  • Ensure aircraft restrictions are monitored, communicated, and incorporated into the fleet plan.
  • Identify and secure back-up aircraft to support both regular and irregular operations.
  • Initiate and provide ongoing support in the routing of chronically problematic aircraft to ensure known issues are addressed and fixed as soon as possible.
  • Work closely within the SOC Planning Unit to prepare for and manage irregular operations.
  • Monitor 3rd party MRO visits as well as check and repositioning flights in support of the Maintenance program and the corporate schedule.
  • Work with Maintenance Planning to ensure the overnight maintenance plan is viable and operational risks are identified and communicated.
  • Frequent communication with Corporate Scheduling in resolving problems that impact the fleet where there is potential impact to OTP or schedule feasibility.
  • Participate in daily maintenance and various other conference calls representing SOC.
