The Air Canada Foundation Communications Manager is responsible for managing and executing communications related to social impact initiatives at Air Canada. They work cross-functionally across the organization to communicate with internal and external stakeholders of Air Canada as needed, contributing to the storytelling of the Air Canada Foundation. Other areas of social impact initiatives include but are not limited to humanitarian work, employee volunteerism and community engagement.


  • Accountable for development and coordination of social impact related communications throughout Air Canada’s network with internal and external stakeholders.  
  • Accountable for tracking KPIs of communications and contributing to administration tasks, including presentations and updates for Board Members. 
  • Accountable for the development of the annual Air Canada Foundation Impact Report. 
  • Responsible for building relationships with internal teams, contributing to the integration of social good at Air Canada, including but not limited to ESG, Community Relations, Brand, Environmental Affairs, DEI, Accessibility, Corporate and Internal Communications. 
  • Contributing to publications and executive newsletters as needed with social good content. 
  • Attending events as an ambassador on behalf of the Air Canada Foundation, contributing to the creation and documentation of content for storytelling. 
  • Driving engagement on internal media platforms as content relates to social good initiatives.


  • University degree in a relevant field. 
  • Experience with storytelling development and drafting copy for purpose-driven campaigns and initiatives. 
  • 1-3 years in a non-profit, corporate social responsibility setting or working and collaborating in a complex highly matrixed organization. 
  • 1-3 years managing social media. 
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills in English. 
  • Exceptionally proficient in Microsoft 365. 
  • Bilingual in English and French is considered an asset.
