The Campaign Production Analyst plays a key role in the development and execution of Air Canada and Aeroplan campaigns in the email calendar. They drive the execution and advancement of targeted and personalized customer experiences designed to drive engagement and business growth for the organization. This role focuses on the email channel, requiring targeting capabilities using all available data sources. The Analyst has expertise in Adobe Campaign Classic. They will work as part of cross-functional email campaign teams with various stakeholders in Marketing, Analytics, IT, and Notifications to successfully deliver email campaigns.

The Analyst utilizes Adobe Campaign Classic to ensure the delivery of email campaigns and other digital communications. They work with other Campaign Production Analysts who translate the Marketing and stakeholder campaign requests and orchestrate the messaging of that information to Air Canada customers and Aeroplan Members via email. The Campaign Production Analyst requires good knowledge of database system/campaign management software and a general knowledge of marketing.


  • Execute tasks and activities associated with campaign workflow development, proofing and the successful deployment of email campaigns.
  • Communicate and work directly with various teams, address and manage stakeholder requests and communicate the status of the campaigns under development.
  • Understand, manage, customize and optimize the entire campaign process, to include new campaign requirements, development tests, production execution and quality control.
  • Capable of completing Adobe Campaign Classic activities on your own (Workflow activities, Delivery activities, and Technical workflows).
  • Track and monitor campaign deployments/results, resolve issues and report status to the campaign team.
  • Implement team best practices as part of your workflow and document new processes/best practices you develop.
  • Execute on targeting and personalization requirements/capabilities as part of the campaigns you work on including but not limited to; personalized notifications, triggered notifications and mass emails.


  • University degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Information Systems, or another related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 3+ years of Experience with technologies and processes for marketing technology platforms:
    • Digital Campaign Management tools: (Adobe Campaign Classic (certification a plus), Salesforce Marketing Cloud or other similar system).
    • Good working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL).
    • Snowflake, Azure, MySQL, Unix/Linux. 
    • XML, Javascript, HTML, JSON, Jira.
  • Knowledge of Airline industry or Loyalty is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and aptitude to engage with colleagues and other stakeholders.
  • Comfort working independently and within a team environment assisting colleagues.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy; ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • High level of ingenuity, problem solving, creativity and initiative.
  • Ability to be assertive and work under minimal supervision.
  • Adaptable, open-minded and ability to think strategically.
